POST WORKOUT MEAL

Often times I'm asked what should I eat after I work out Coach? First, all your decisions should be conducive to your fitness goals. For example if you are training to run a marathon your post workout meal will probably consist of carbs mostly. However if your goal is to lose weight or gain muscle you may consider protein. I personally use Whey Protein Powder after all my workouts. Whey Isolate is all really broken down so you don't need to wait on the absorption and digestion process. Furthermore Whey Protein has all the essential amino acids to build muscle, and for muscle recovery. If you are a Vegan then you may want to consider Pea Protein. So my recommendations is Whey Protein for Post Workout meal it's easy to make and convenient especially if you travel to a gym to train. You can have your Protein drink on stand by. I use Optimum Nutrition Whey Isolate 120grams per serving 1gram of sugar total carbs 3g Protein 24 grams. So when you do the math majority of the calories come from Protein and that is what you want. Chocolate is the best flavor it breaks down easy I love it. And personally I don't know anything better than Whey protein.

What brands/flavor of protein powder do you prefer? I don’t care for stevia and I’m always looking for taste improvement. Some protein powders are really grainy…especially pea protein IMO. What about collagen protein?
