When you are engaged in a fitness lifestyle it's important to understand health related fitness and skill related fitness. So let's start with the four components of Health related fitness. 1.) Cardiorespiratory endurance 2.) Muscle fitness 3.) Muscle flexibility 4.) Body composition
Skill related fitness 1.) Agility 2.) Balance 3.) Coordination 4.) Power 5.) Reaction time 6.) Speed
Now let's bring all this information together. So basically Health related fitness is just maintaining a basic level of daily physical activity to ensure your heart and lungs are healthy, and your weight is under control, you can lift items without pain or discomfort. You may not have speed, , power, or great balance but you are healthy. Now skill related fitness combined with Health related fitness is considered to be the Physical Fitness Standard. Now You can not develop skill related fitness before you improve your health related fitness.
